I am looking for Pasco volunteers to work with me to get word out on an August 19 Pasco ballot to build a swimming pool in west Pasco and remodel the Memorial Park pool.If the bond passes in August, people of all ages would have another recreational option for Pasco residents.  Swimming lessons would also be a plus for non-swimmers of all ages.At 16 cents per thousand of assessed property value or $16 a year for a $100,000 home, it would be money well spent to give our kids and grandkids another summer recreational option.  I am retired, age 65, living on a fixed income, and eager to keep kids busy and off the streets during the summer.
