Road trip # 1 Stonehenge
See a replica of Stonehenge with a panoramic view of the Columbia River Gorge. If you don't want to come back the same way and don't mind driving at night take HWY 97 from Mary Hills to Goldendale and visit the Observatory there and then take HWY 97 to Toppenish and come back to the Tri-Cities.

Road trip # 2 Palouse Falls
A spectacular waterfall and deep canyon in the middle of the desert and miles from "nowhere"

From Pasco go East on HWY 12, take the Kahlotus HWY exit to Kahlotus, approx. 40 miles, take a right on HWY 260 (East) go approx. 9 miles, take a right onto HWY 261, go approx 9 miles, take a left onto Palouse Falls Road - enjoy! If you don't want to go back the same way, take a left on HWY 261, after leaving Palouse Falls, to Lions Ferry, a great park on the river, go on to Starbuck, a quaint little town and through Dayton back to the Tri-Cities.Here is a link to a website:
